Green Smoothies Recipe

Patients are always asking me “What foods should I eat?” My answer is sample. Start with fresh fruits, vegetables, lean proteins and whole grains. Limit refined carbohydrates and sugars. Here is a great way to start your day. This green smoothie recipe is packed with nourishing ingredients and is yummy too!

This makes a single serving. Combine the following ingredients in any blender:

  • 1 banana
  • 10 oz of vanilla almond milk
  • 1 cup of frozen mixed fruit
  • 1 cup of fresh spinach
